How to get Money Sites Ranked: (From: InstantTrafficGuru)
LINKING: Choose Your Money Site! Your "Money Site" is the page that you want to rank in Google for your phrase. This is the page that people will find, and click on the affiliate link inside.
Use additional properties like Hubpages, Wetpaint, and Clearblogs to build what we call "Link-Juice" back to your money-site. "Link-Juice" (or "Link-Equity") is built by having ONE WAY links pointing at your site. The more Link-Equity a page/site has, the better it will rank for it's keywords...
Place one link from your secondary-properties that says your keyword-phrase - and hyperlinks to your money-site.
For example, you have a link on your Wetpaint site that links to the URL of your Money-Site (Squidoo page) - this is what is called an "Anchor Text".
Linking Overview: We recommend that your Hubpage has one Affiliate Link (near the top) and one link (in the content) that is anchor text (keyword phrase) that links to your Squidoo Lens. (Best not to put too many links in Hubpages.)
Your Wetpaint page can have 1-2 Affiliate Links in clickable images, and 1-2 Affiliate Links that are "Advertising for the click" - then one link (in the content) that is an anchor-text, pointing to your Squidoo Lens (for SEO).
Your Squidoo Lens will only have Affiliate Links and can have as many as you feel you can add without looking "spammy" 4-8 (including images).
