Article writing and promotion is important for your website because it provides many links back to your website from all around the Internet. This increases your popularity with the search engines and you receive a better listing in their result lists.
Write keyword targeted articles for each of 5 keywords (350 word minimum) and submit them to the top 10 article directories.
Include an ad promoting your website or free report with a live link to your website in your signature.
You should receive about 50 links back to your website and this also helps with your organic SOE (Search Engine Optimisation) when other people post your articles to their blogs, websites, ezines and letters.

If you don't have the time to write articles you can automate the process by using Matt Callen's Article Spinner. This program allows you to use a private label rights (plr) article in the article spinner which produces another 25 keyword rich articles from it automatically. All the articles are at least 80% unique.

This stand alone software provides an easy template and when it's completed you just press a button and a professional looking article is ready to go. Press another button and it distributes the article to a number of article directories.
